Minster FM is looking for a Head of News. Located near York, we broadcast across York and North Yorkshire including market towns such as Malton, Pickering, Selby and Tadcaster. We are the number one local radio station in our market place and having been on-air for over 20 years, we are firmly established in the area. We are part of the UKRD Group, twice ranked No.1 in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

In addition to all the traditional skills required, to be a Head of Department within UKRD is an exceptional experience. The people in UKRD are the most important thing and the development of you and your team is paramount.
You will have an interest in all areas of the business beyond your own discipline and will develop a comprehensive understanding of all things commercial, programming & HR. You will be part of a strong decision-making team who plan strategy and policy for this successful heritage radio station, constantly working to raise the bar delivering audience and revenue.
You will need to be able to develop relationships and be the face of Minster FM within the local business community.
