Sponsorship and Promotions Manager, Metro Radio

Would you like the opportunity to work for one of the most exciting, creative and innovative brands in the area? Located in the heart of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Metro Radio is looking for a Sponsorship and Promotions Manager.

You would be responsible for achieving the sponsorship and promotions revenue targets making correct use of all aspects of the stations portfolio as well as ensuring large national campaigns for blue chip clients are implemented at a local level to an exceptional standard.

Working with the Commercial, Marketing and Programming teams, you will also consistently ensure S&P activities are delivered to the highest standard and are on brand. The role will see you regularly working with talent ensuring the best on air delivery of campaigns.

You should be proactive, self-motivated with outstanding business acumen, excellent presentation and organisational skills and be a creative thinker. It is essential that you have a wide knowledge and experience in a commercial marketing and management role and it is desirable that this is in media, entertainment or leisure industries. Proven experience of managing and developing consumer brands, both above and below the line and knowledge of market, audience and broadcast research is also desirable but not essential as is a Marketing Diploma.
