Voluntary Unpaid Position – Weekdays – Anytime between 7am and 7pm

Our weekday programmes are all about chat, personality, features and fun.

Your role will be to present a great programme on-air, sounding up beat and fun, with lots of features and guests. Features are a big part of The Brighter Breakfast, Daytime, Good Afternoon and Drivetime, so you will need to be able to think of lots of exciting ideas that could be turned into features. These can be big or small, simple or not – as long as they are great, and make your listeners want to join in or have a laugh.
We also have digital recorders, so pre recorded interviews are possible – we offer training with these.

The hours are very flexible and can fit in with your other commitments, and working as part of a team is essential.

You will get lots of training in all aspects of radio – from researching, interviewing, recording, desk driving, programme techniques, radio production tips and hints etc.
