Yorkshire Coast Radio, located in Scarborough, broadcasts to an idyllic stretch of the Yorkshire coastline. We are the number one local radio station in our market place, and having been on-air for almost 19 years, we are firmly established in the area.
We’re a great place to work, and we currently have a vacancy for a Broadcast Journalist.
Our ‘patch’ consists of two counties…North Yorkshire and East Riding of Yorkshire, and four towns…Whitby, Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough..so there’s a lot going on.
We’re looking for someone with commitment, drive and enthusiasm. You’ll be comfortable reporting, writing and reading bulletins, have the skills associated with a busy newsroom and an understanding of the importance of local news to our audience.
We’re also looking for someone who shares our core values, and has the desire to keep us first for quality, relevant and informative local news.
