Entertainment News is an expanding division and is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and truly tenacious multi-media journalist who is comfortable at attracting A-list talent to its thriving rolling showbiz news service, as well as editing and producing first-class video features.

A strong broadcast voice and news writing abilities are essential for this role. You will have excellent interviewing skills and a willingness to ‘doorstep’ where necessary.
You will have outstanding planning and organisational skills, a clear understanding of broadcast law and the editorial policies of commercial radio and solid technical abilities.
High level personnel skills are necessary as you will be liaising with radio stations and PR companies on a daily basis.

Experience of video editing commercially is not essential but you must have an interest in learning these skills.

This is a 24-hour service, involving unsociable hours, weekend work and attendance at showcases and events. You must be flexible and able to work quickly under pressure.
