Welcome to INRIX media, the UK’s leading provider of travel information to radio and television. We currently have a vacancy for a Part time weekend editor/broadcaster at our Traffic Intelligence Centre in Birmingham.
Editorial Duties:
You would be responsible for providing live and planned road information to our clients, using our in-house database. The ability to update information quickly and accurately is essential, and an excellent knowledge of the Midland road network would be a distinct advantage.
Broadcasting Duties:
You would be responsible for providing live and pre-recorded travel bulletins to radio clients. The ability to present articulately and confidently is a must, whilst an excellent knowledge of the Midland’s transport infrastructure would be an advantage. We are looking for people who can cope with the demands of creating consistently excellent bulletins for some of the most successful radio stations in the country.
We are looking for people who can research and update information from various sources and tailor it for an external audience. Our information is used by high-profile clients across the UK so you should be comfortable with communicating in written and verbal form to a variety of people, internal and external to the business.
Our employees range from university graduates to seasoned professionals – many work within the radio industry or have an interest in transport.
Saturday – Hours – 3pm until 10pm
