Daytime presenters, Preston FM

As part of our review of the station and what it offers the community, we are currently undertaking a series of “vox pop” interviews with local communities at their events. In conjunction with this we are revising our daytime schedule (Monday – Friday) to enable us to present a more cohesive structure that in turn will be more identifiable to listeners. It will also give us greater opportunity to air more local news and events.
We expect to introduce a daily breakfast show from 8 till 9am. Chat City will run 9 till 11am and will continue to tighten its structure, whilst broadening its’ scope
Democracy Now at 11 is to be followed at 12 by a new two-hour lunchtime show. A further two-hour afternoon show will then precede a new School’s Out show in the 4 – 5 pm slot. The weekday daytime schedule will conclude with a drive-time show from 5 till 7.
This will position the station more effectively in the community we serve and allow us to serve the community more efficiently.
