PURPOSE OF ROLE
To provide project management and administrative support in improving processes across the media team and writing reports on content streams, stories, and related PR, marketing and promotional activity.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Regularly access and recommend improvements to current processes for moving content from one platform to another.
•Project management large cross platform strands/initiatives to ensure key goals and objectives are met.
•Record and track cross promotion of key stories across radio, magazines, video and online including any which have received external PR coverage and produce a monthly report on all activity for Board meetings.
•Record and track all cross promotion of key ministries programmes between radio, web and social media and produce a weekly/monthly report on all activity using Daily Editorial Meeting report.
•Attend Daily Editorial, Quarterly Cross Platform Planning and any other related editorial meetings with the intention to suggest and monitor plans for cross platform activity and submit a weekly report to PR for discussion.
•Meet on a weekly and/or bi weekly basis with key stakeholders across radio, web and magazines where relevant to report on content activities.
•Provide support for head of reputation by arranging studio bookings, liaising with producers, providing guest/contributor information where directed and where necessary contributors on agreed action points
•Assist in the organisation of listener advisory boards with radio consultant and heads of radio networks
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•A media related degree is not essential but may be an advantage
•A proven desire or experience of work within a busy media environment, preferably radio, video or magazine production
