Reporting to our Head of Media & Radio Programmes, as Programme Manager – Media in this hands-on operational role, you’ll be responsible for the successful project delivery and our overall service portfolio across the Broadcast Media unit. It’s a complex role involving the management of multiple projects, people and resources and involving several organisations, multi-disciplines, interfaces and suppliers. Balancing demands and resources efficiently, you’ll need to ensure high levels of productivity and drive excellent performance to reflect departmental KPIs. As well as establishing strong relationships with external and internal customers and managing stakeholder expectations, your other key responsibilities will include:

· delivering on our commitments, including cultural change
· managing relationships with strategic third party suppliers in conjunction with supply chain
· programme governance
· cost containment/management for project/programme budgets.

Educated to degree level in a Project Management or Business-related discipline and with a recognised Advanced Project Management Accreditation (APMP or Prince 2), you’ll have a proven track record delivering products, services and operational improvement within a broadcast engineering environment. Experience in compression and multiplexing systems, IPTV, networks, terrestrial and satellite platforms systems are highly desirable for the role. Varying from short-term challenges to comprehensive service up-grades, new launches and roll-out programmes, they’ll all bear your hallmarks of successful implementation, efficiency, economy of scale and the leadership and development of high-performing teams. Strong on internal and external customer interface and relationship management, you’ll have a clear ability to multi-task whilst focusing on key priorities and objectives. You’ll also bring:
