Web Design Tutor, Eclectic Productions UK

This job is located in New Cross, London (map)

Eclectic Productions is a not for profit organisation which aims to empower communities by giving them a voice. We provide consultancy, outreach services and accredited training courses in all aspects of Radio Production, Web Design and Music Production.
We are looking for a Web Design Tutor to deliver a course for young people aged between 14 and 15. These learners have been identified as a ‘hard to engage’ group and can often be challenging in traditional learning environments. The course is part of a larger programme with radio, drama and multimedia as the core elements and uses a dynamic, learner centred approach to engage the client group.

This would ideally suit someone who has good experience working with this client group, passionate about teaching, has excellent communication skills and strives to achieve the most out of learners. We are also looking for someone who has excellent knowledge of Web Design technologies and employs a creative approach.

The position will start early September to help with the initial setup of the programme with the delivery the course towards the end of the month. This is a freelance part-time contract for 6 months at 8 hours per week. However we are looking to expand the programme which could potentially increase the amount of hours available.

• HTML
• Dreamweaver
• CSS
• Fireworks/Photoshop

Desirable:
