Washington, DC's Premiere Adult radio station, Mix 107.3 (www.mix1073fm.com) is looking for qualified interns for the summer season!

Responsibilities:
MIX 107.3 promotions interns must be organized, detail-oriented, motivated self-starters looking to gain hands-on experience in the radio industry. The internship hours will be dedicated to three main areas of the promotions/marketing department: handling listener relations, web updates, and event and street team marketing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handling listener relations by contacting prize winners, maintaining a prize winner database, organizing and filing prize winner information, and returning voicemails. Interns will write copy and perform web updates for on air and online promotions. Additionally, you will assist the street team at various station events and appearances in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.

Intern hours may require nighttime and weekend work, and flexibility in regards to availability is a plus.

Training will be provided in all areas of the internship.

Qualifications/Eligibility:

Internships are available to college students only. Advisor written verification that the applicant will receive class credit is required.

Additionally, interns must be available for a minimum of 22 hours per week dependent upon the number of credits to be earned.

Typing skills are essential.

We recommend that you apply early for summer internships. The MIX 107.3 summer internship program is extremely competitive, and only a select number of interns will be chosen to join us this summer.
