Volunteer media consultant required by national network of voluntary-sector dance clubs (British Association of American Square Dance Clubs) and dance teachers (Square Dance Callers Club of Great Britain). We need one or more people with good contacts in local and national radio and a serious interest in the folk dance tradition and/or country music to promote coverage of our local, national and international events, both from the point of view of arts and of the health benefits of dancing as a form of exercise. We have contact with lots of event organisers in the UK, in other parts of Europe and in the USA and Canada. Training in square (and round) dancing provided if required.
