Erewash Sound currently has a vacancy for a voluntary Head Of News position on the management team of the online radio station.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the news team, handle new applications for candiates joining the news team and look after the day to day running of the news output. You will also act as the representive of the news team on the management board of the online radio station. The successful candidate must also know how news must be put across on radio. You will also be required to do at least one shift on news so you will require a broadcast quality microphone, a piece of sound editing software such as Adobe Audition and a broadband internet connection.

This is a great opportinity for a person who wants to gain experience in radio management.

Applicants should be local to the East Midlands or have knowledge of the area.
