XFM Scotland is looking for someone with brilliant ideas and the drive to get them to air. As well as radio campaigns, you'll also be involved in loads of cool, cross-platform stuff like pod and vodcasts...ideas which make serious money for our clients.

Job title: Creative Consultant
Reports: Head of Sales/ Regional Creative Manager
Location: XFM Scotland, Glasgow
Role Objective and Context:
To offer creative-led sell opportunities to a sales team by presenting imaginative, results driven ideas to our clients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• To take a brief, formulate a creative concept to meet the objectives of that brief and “sell” the concept to advertisers as part of the creative-led sell.
• To help identify and qualify new business advertisers.
• To appropriately cast (and occasionally direct) the production of commercials to maximum creative effect.
• To contribute positively and effectively in all sales meetings, sales inductions and creative-led sell training.
• Responsible for the accurate reporting of revenue and forecasting
• To participate effectively in a dispersed regional creative team.
• Adhere to group standard of behaviour and implement group HR, IT and Finance policies
Key measures of success:
• Delivery of creative writing goals as agreed with the Head of Sales.
• Delivery of creative revenue targets.
• Amount of airtime revenue generated through the creative-led sell.
• Client and industry recognition (awards and PR) of creative output.
Experience and Skills:
• General knowledge of media businesses and of the types of businesses that purchase commercial air time and creative
• A good understanding of commercial issues including RACC guidelines and regulations
• Will be able to work alone and in support of a geographically-dispersed regional team to reach creative and sales targets.
• Able to communicate with advertisers, agencies and sales teams to provide a high level of customer service.
• Able to accurately forecast and report revenue, dealing with any accounts or traffic query
• Able to communicate creative sales tools and presentations to your sales teams in a clear and motivating.
• Able to understand, meet and contribute to the overall business objectives of the Creative Dept.
• A good knowledge of voiceovers, voice agents (and their clients) music production companies and studios.
