Are you interested in joining Radio North Kent but don't want to be DJ.... Then you're just the kind of person we're always looking for.
Radio North Kent can never have too many ward - visiting volunteers because we are a hospital radio station, existing purely for the benefit of our audience... the patients.
Ward visitors are the lifeblood of our organisation.
Duties may include:
Visiting patients in The Gravesham Community Hospital to collect requests.
Assisting with the general admin and running of the studio.
Taking patients requests via telephone.
Fundraising activities.
Spending time on a good cause and contributing to patients' speedy recoveries.
Meeting new people on a weekly basis.
We offer full training and encouragement, so no experience is necessary. You will, of course, receive the "feel good factor" having done a good deed purely for the sake of it.
