Sports Journalist – GCap UK Desk

We currently have a vacancy in the UK Desk sports team for a breakfast journalist.

The position will be based in our London Leicester Square newsroom, producing material for the whole GCap network, as well as our London-based stations Capital Radio, Classic FM, Xfm, Planet Rock, Choice FM and Gold.

There will also be the opportunity to cover major sports events, and report/present live for Gold’s dedicated Saturday sports programme.

You’ll need a great voice and writing skills, and have at least a year’s experience of sport-based broadcast journalism. You’ll also have to be extremely flexible, as you’ll be working on a wide variety of formats and often be required to work weekends.
