London, six-month contract

More than half a million Londoners choose BBC London 94.9 every week. It’s London’s radio station with a unique mix of Sony award winning big name presenters, news, sport, conversation, music and much more.

You’ll work as day producer for the new Jo Good and Paul Ross Breakfast Show. You'll need the skills, talent and drive to break Sony-worthy stories to London’s breakfast audience.

We're looking for someone who gets their kick from working on original journalism, although setting up the story is just the first step. We'll also expect you to plan a creative treatment for our reporters to pick up the next morning. Then, there's securing the celebrity guests no other radio station in London can! Our listeners come from many diverse backgrounds, so an understanding of the capital's many communities is important too.

On completing an application form, you’ll be asked to provide a 300 word critique of the Jo Good & Paul Ross Breakfast Show including ideas for content or strands. In addition, there is a section regarding listener diversity in London.
