High Peak Radio is looking for freelancers because all the people on our books have gone on to get full-time jobs - good for them, not so good for us!
We need people to cover shifts while the regulars are on holiday, and provide the newsteam with a bit of backup on busy days.
Our studio is in the beautiful Peak District, within easy reach of Manchester, Sheffield, and Derby.
One week we'll be sending you to a big press launch, the next you'll be reading bulletins and writing scripts.
It's a small station, so you'll be doing everything - you should have a good voice, write concise, clear scripts, and be able to put together creative packages.
Please only apply if you have an NCTJ recognised qualification in media law.
To apply:
E-mail an up-to-date CV and short news demo to news
highpeakradio.co.uk
If you've got any questions, please call 01298 813 144 and ask for the News Editor, Jill McKenzie
