Kiss 105-108 Job Description

POST: Account Manager – Cambridgeshire
RESPONSIBLE TO: Sales Director
SALARY: £Basic neg. / Commission / Car / Laptop / Phone

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Business Development:
Your primary role is to generate enquiries and grow revenues in order to increase the company’s turnover and client base. You will be expected to hit monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and meeting activity targets on an ongoing basis by cross selling our range of services to existing clients as well as sourcing & developing new clients. This will be achieved via traditional business development and prospecting methods – primarily through canvass calling, managing existing clients and utilising our creative led sell business model.

2) Research:
To assist in your business development you will be expected to undertake a degree of market research to develop potential new clients and market sectors.

3) Database Management:
As part of your business development / canvass calling role you will be expected to populate the marketing database with new clients and make amendments to the database as and when required. This also includes cleaning the database on a regular basis to ensure our client information is up to date.

4) Client Management:
Due to the nature of your role, you will be expected to manage each stage of the sales process including, arranging and attending client meetings, generating appropriate client proposals and estimates – including presentation materials, negotiating and closing deals. As part of this process you will be expected to liaise with other departments within the business namely creative, production, programming, marketing and S&P.

5) Product Knowledge / Booking Process:
You will be expected to continually develop your product knowledge and have an in depth understanding of our entire range of services. In addition to which you will be competent with all internal booking procedures and to this end liaise with our Station Co-ordinator to ensure all bookings / invoices are correct.

6) Other Duties:
From time to time and in keeping with the general running of the company you will be asked to assist with duties outside of your normal remit to ensure the day to day operations of the business can run effectively.
