We are looking for an experienced Programming Assistant to help shape the Smooth Radio Brand across the West Midlands.

You will support the Programme Controller in all aspects of the output, having responsibility for music scheduling, script writing, scheduling of live reads for presenters, maintaining Selector and Linker as well as planning and monitoring activity on the station website.

This is a challenging role which requires an organised and efficient approach. You will be an integral member of the team and must be able to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business and listeners.

It is essential that you have experience in;

• Selector, Linker and Master Control
• Interpretation and use of Music Research
• Updating websites
• Handling listener enquiries, comments and complaints in the appropriate manner
• Music scheduling
