We’re looking for an experienced creative digital expert to lead the BBC Radio 3, The Proms, BBC Performing Groups and Classical Music TV interactive team (PPR3i). You’ll have strategic vision, project management skills, strong editorial judgement and creative flair.

You must have a thorough understanding of the output of these highly valued and distinctive services of the BBC and must have the multiplatform experience to lead the BBC’s presentation of Classical Music in the digital space. Cross platform working will be second nature to you and you will be able to deal with all areas of the Classical Music world. You’ll also be able to display an ability to work with other genres on Radio 3 such as World Music, Drama and other speech programming. You should also have demonstrable experience in creative competitive output and in cultivating and leading successful teams. You’ll be able to drive developments that will attract core Radio 3 listeners to the digital output and have the capacity to build the overall reach and impact of the BBC’s work in classical music.

BBC Audio & Music Interactive is an established department responsible for products and services across the web, DAB Digital radio, DTV, mobile and other related platforms across the BBC’s portfolio of radio and music services including; Radios 1, 2, 3, 4, Five Live, 6Music, 1Xtra, Asian Network, Radio 7 and bbc.co.uk/music as well as the Proms, Music Entertainment TV, Classical Music Television and the Orchestras.
