Newbury Sound is the local radio station for West Berkshire.

We are independently owned and pride ourselves on putting our community’s news at the top of our agenda.

We’re looking to increase our pool of freelancers for holiday cover.

You’ll need to be based in West Berkshire or be within commuting distance and very familiar with the area.

We’re looking for an excellent on-air voice, fantastic writing skills, an understanding of what makes local news and a real desire to be out and about reporting and finding the stories important to us.
