Broadcast Journalist, Heart fm, Global Radio Ltd

Heart Peterborough is looking for an exceptional Broadcast Journalist to join our team.



You must have radio news experience, an amazing voice, some knowledge of the area, plus a passion for news that fits our format and target audience.



This role will include presenting on-air bulletins for Heart Peterborough and also Gold Cambridgeshire.



The successful candidate will need to have the following:



• An excellent broadcasting voice and a talent for writing entertaining, informative and on-target scripts

• An understanding and appreciation of both the Heart and Gold brands.

• A passion for creating unique, emotive, and relevant local news, and a knowledge of the key issues affecting listeners in our area

• Experience of working alone on a busy news desk, as well as the ability and personality to work as part of a team

• Knowledge of Broadcast Law

• A full UK driving license
