This Sales and Marketing Manager role is self-explanatory, wide-reaching and somewhat unconventional. It will fit only a certain type of person. You’ll need to have the following experience:
- At least 3 years sales experience
- Some significant experience of cold-calling*
- Extremely proficient in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- A good understanding of the UK radio market
- Reaching sales targets and being rewarded with commission
- A good black book of client and/or agency contacts
*The role is overtly a sales one, but there will be much time spent on presentations and pitching to radio stations, clients and agencies that we already deal with. However there will be occasions when you be expected to make cold calls if we spot relevant opportunities to exploit.
