Senior Broadcast Journalist
Ram FM is Derbyshire’s Number 1 Hit Music station and we’re looking for an outstanding Senior Broadcast Journalist to join our news team.
You’ll need at least 2 years radio news experience, be able to prove you can uncover the stories that matter to our audience and have a fantastic voice.
As part of this position, you’ll be expected to get out in the area and build and maintain key contacts.
This role will include presenting on-air bulletins for Ram FM, Gold East Midlands and occasionally Trent FM.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have at least 2 years experience in radio news
• Have a fantastic voice and great writing skills
• Be full of ideas and creativity
• Have some knowledge of the area
• Be passionate about delivering news that matters to our audience
• Share the values of the Hit Music brand
• Be able to motivate a team
• Further develop our online content
