Associate Producer, Absolute Radio

Absolute Radio’s Production team is recruiting for an Associate Producer.
The role of the Associate Producer is support the creation of promotional audio to brand the station and publicise its programming, promotions, sponsors and commercial clients.
Responsibilities include Assist in the production of the station’s premier league programming, specialising in the promotion of the commentary and coverage.
Responsible for the regular update of promotional materials for the radio station’s programming, including the Breakfast Show and the No Repeat Guarantee.
Responsible for producing audio related to the commercial team, including the compilation of ROTs for existing clients and demos for new business.
Scriptwriting for both commercial and programming promotional material
Creating items in RCS Linker for each production element Ensuring all work produced is compliant with current Ofcom codes and has correct editorial judgement
Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Ensuring all work produced is compliant with current Ofcom codes and has correct editorial judgement Experience with interpreting client briefs and creating quality audio in line with brand, both for clients and the station Minimum one year of radio production experience. (not program production)
Minimum one year working with digital multitrack editing software (e.g. Pyramix)
Minimum one year working with digital playout software (e.g. Genysis) Ideally experience of sports programme production
Personal characteristics:
Ability to work under pressure in a live studio environment. A flexible team player while managing tight deadlines Ability to react promptly when a quick turnaround is required. High attention to detail while prioritising tasks
Shift is Tuesday – Saturday with the ability to do early starts or late finishes in line with the needs of the business, including football and festival season
