Bauer Radio NE is looking for new journalists to join its mission in 2010 to create unique and outstanding radio news.
The news team based at Metro Radio’s studios in the heart of Newcastle provide content not only for Metro but also for CFM serving North and West Cumbria, TFM in Teesside and Magic stations in the region.

We’re currently looking for exceptional individuals to fill three roles:
Regional Head of News – The editor in this senior role oversees the entire team and content. He/she will be responsible for picking up this summer’s project and continuing to drive our news forward. We need a motivated ideas person, preferably with news management experience.
Broadcast Journalists x 2 – We want our journalists to put the audience at the centre of their stories. These will be broadcasters who love radio and who will take pride in producing stand out content to contend for major awards in 2011.
