BBC Wales News & Current Affairs is looking for an experienced broadcaster to join its radio presentation team.
The successful applicant will be a first class journalist with extensive experience of live broadcasting. Your main responsibility will be co-presenting the drivetime programme, Good Evening Wales, but you’ll be expected to work flexibly across all the programmes produced in the department.
S/he must have an in depth knowledge of Wales, Welsh Current Affairs as well as the UK and International news agenda. S/he must also be able to demonstrate a track record in producing creative speech radio that engages the audience. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic individual who will help shape news coverage and play a full part in the production process. Contacts to generate original stories and programme ideas are essential.
