This job is located in Bristol, England. (map)
Trafficlink, the UK’s leading provider of traffic and travel information to the BBC, commercial radio and television, has a vacancy for an Information Editor at our Bristol office, based in Avonmouth.
Position: Part Time Information Editor Editorial Duties: You will handle ‘jamline’ callers, contact many sources from the local CCTV unit to the relevant agency who maintains the road network, and you would be responsible for collating this data into our custom built database. You need the ability to handle a busy workload as you will be dealing with a large variety of resources and also understand how to prioritise tasks while having excellent telephone skills to gain as much information from sources as you can. A good understanding of the region’s road network would be an advantage.
The shift will be 20 hours a week based on a part time fixed contract. The shift hours will be Monday to Friday 6am to 10am.
If you enjoy working as part of a team but can also use your own initiative, like the idea of working a variety of shifts, for some of the greatest radio stations in the country, then Trafficlink could be just the right place for you to work.
