Broadcast Journalist - Maternity Cover

A temporary journalism job at Pirate FM in Redruth, UK
Posted 14 February 2020, 1.52pm gmt

Are you a qualified broadcast journalist? Do you love Cornwall? Then Pirate FM needs you!

From the floods at Coverack to Poldark premieres – we have one of the biggest and busiest news patches in the country.

Now we need the right person to help deliver those stories and set the Duchy’s news agenda while one of our team is on maternity leave.

This position will need you to hit the ground running, so experience in a radio newsroom is essential.

You will have a great on-air voice, tight copy-writing skills and digital flare because producing informative and entertaining content for our website and social media platforms will be a big part of your working day.

You will also be working for one of the only radio groups in the UK that measures how much our audience trusts us. #nofakenewshere
