UTV move questioned by Ofcom

Ofcom have criticised UTV's request to move Stockport station Imagine FM out of its TSA to Warrington. The regulators believe the request would "substantially alter the character of the service" and have launched a public consultation. (more)

Imagine FM unsung heroes

UTV Radio station 104.9 FM recently held a ceremony to honour unsung heroes in their local community. The Pride of South Manchester Awards was held at The Hilton Hotel at Manchester Airport, and included categories such as Heart of Gold and Bravest Youngster . (more)

Northern network for UTV Radio

RadioToday.co.uk has learnt that UTV Radio is to launch networked evening and overnight programming across 7 of its radio stations in the North of England. Wire FM, Wish FM, Radio Wave, Tower FM, Imagine FM, The Pulse and Signal Two will all carry the live shows from next month. (more)
