Scots Quartet Contending for Commercial Radio Titles

Northsound teams with Vodafone

Emap's Northsound 1 and Vodafone are raising money to create a new garden centre for the Sue Ryder Care neurological centre in Kincorth. Following an appeal on-air for green-fingered small companies to come forward and help get the garden looking good again, locally based Outside Solutions stepped in. Vodafone donated £2,000 to help pay for tools and supplies. (more)

Travis sings for Northsound

Emap's Northsound stations have teamed up with Aberdeen City Council to bring Glasgow band Travis to the city for this year's Hogmanay celebrations. Northsound 1’s Andy James and Northsound 2’s John McRuvie will host the free event on New Years Eve. (more)

Northsound 1 Putting on Another Free Concert

Good news for Q96 and Clyde 1 while bad news for Kingdom FM and Northsound 1. Q96, the local radio station covering Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Glasgow, is officially Scotland's fastest growing radio station - according to the latest RAJAR audience figures released today.. (more)
