Jerusalem ?peace radio? staff under house arrest

An Israeli court today placed under house arrest seven employees of an English-language radio station set up to foster dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians. The Ministry of Communications shut the South African-backed RAM FM’s Jerusalem studio on Monday, saying it did not have a licence to broadcast. Israeli police detained several employees and confiscated equipment yesterday from an English-language radio station in Jerusalem that was set up to encourage dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians. BRMB jock moves to RAM

BRMB overnight presenter and breakfast producer J is moving within the GCap Media group to join RAM FM. He will take over the mid morning show from Monday in Derby, after a five year stint at the Birmingham station. (more)

Ram FM does Derby deal

Gcap Media's 102.8 Ram FM has arranged a deal with Derby County FC to broadcast full match commentary on all games for the 2007/2008 season. The station has also signed with the Derbyshire Building Society to sponsor the match day coverage. (more)

New English-language radio station for Israel and Palestinian territories

A new English-language Israeli-Palestinian radio station will soon begin broadcasting in Israel and the PA territories.
