Real producer heads home

Craig Stewart, station producer for Real Radio in Wales is heading home to the north east to take over the same role at Century FM in Newcastle. Craig started his career at Sun FM and has also worked at Smooth in Manchester. (more)

TFM Radio & Sun FM Favourites in North East England

The Breakfast Show on TFM Radio with Graham Mack and the Drivetime Show on Sun FM with Pete Clough have been voted the Best in North East England in a poll run by Merry Media.Over the past couple of months, Merry Media has been moving from region to region across the UK to find the best breakfast and drivetime shows on the radio with votes coming from within the radio industry as well as businesses and listeners.Graham Mack came top of the breakfast show poll with his show on TFM Radio with 17% of the votes, second place was held jointly by Tim West on Alpha 103.2 and Tony Horne on Metro Radio with 12% each. Third place in the poll was Peter Grant's Breakfast Show on Durham FM.. (more)

Lee Finan joins Century FM

Former Metro FM and Sun FM presenter Lee Finan is the latest recruit at GMG Radio's Century FM in Newcastle. Lee will cover mid-mornings from July 2nd then move to a regular show in August. He has been on the northeast airwaves for over 14 years. (more)

Les Gunn joins TLRC

Adrian Allen joins TLRC

Sunderland born talk show host Adrian Allen is heading home to present a brand new Sunday night phone-in on three TLRC stations in the Northeast - Durham FM, Alpha FM and Sun FM. Adrian is one of the country’s one sought after phone-in radio presenters and has been referred to as “radio’s most talked about talk show host”! He has previously worked at many UK stations including Real Radio (South Wales), talk107 (Edinburgh) and London's LBC 97.3 FM. (more)
