Lao National Radio external service available online

Lao radio stations get a helping hand

Lao National Radio (LNR) is coordinating a project to improve the quality of programmes on provincial radio stations around the country. Radio France International to end FM transmissions in Vilnius, but launch in Belgrade

Radio France International (RFI) will cease broadcasting on FM in Vilnius, Lithuania, with effect from 1 September 2006. RFI says that the decision to withdraw the contract permitting RFI to broadcast in Vilnius was taken by LNRT (Lithuanian National Radio Television) and the LRTC (Lithuanian Radio Television Center).
