Community Radio for Wiltshire

The first community radio station in Wiltshire has started broadcasting this week, dedicated to the Tidworth area.Castledown Radio also covers surrounding towns and villages such as Bulford Camp, Shipton and Bellinger. (more)

Castledown Radio Offers Free Training

Media Training, which can cost thousands of pounds with other professional training servies is yours 'free', as Castledown Radio offers a series of free media training courses taking place during May, June and July 2006. The success of previous courses has led to an increase in people wanting to learn media skills, therefore additional courses have now been laid on.. (more)

Castledown Radio Celebrate

Internet only station Castledown Radio have been awarded a five year community radio licence from Ofcom. The station has been at the heart of a project operated by Tidworth Development Trust, which is aimed at integrating communities across the Tidworth Community Area (TCA). It is a unique service, run ‘by the community, for the community’. (more)
