Live music at Resonance FM

London community radio station Resonance FM are to extend their live radio programmes to the stage at The Corsica Arts Studios every Sunday in July. The events give the listeners to opportunity to watch bands such as The Guillemots and Leafcutter John perform live. (more)

Email girl gets her idea aired

Muthamma Prasad, known for having a very public exchange of emails with Resonance FM boss Richard Thomas has been given the chance to host her own programme. Richard was not interested in her idea after attacking her for having 'a poor etiquette stand'. (more)

Ofcom explains Community awards

Ofcom today explain why they awarded seven community radio stations recently, and decided not to award 32 others. The seven awards made on December 12th were: West Hull Community Radio (West Hull), Radio Reverb (East and Central Brighton), Colchester Garrison FM (Colchester), Spirit of Plymouth (Plymouth), Resonance FM (Central London), Desi Radio (Southall, West London) and Sound Radio (Hackney, East London) (more)
