Tindle Radio's Dream 100 has apologised to Ofcom after a presenter on the station invited listeners to text in, via premium rate SMS, for requests during an automated programme. (more)
Nightmare for Dream 100

Colchester's Dream 100 has posted its worst set of RAJAR figures in 7 years, with 23,000 fewer listeners now tuning in than a year ago. The station's owners Tindle, however, are up on total reach and hours to 318,000 and 3.1m respectively across their 11 UK stations. (more)
Tindle promotion for Rees

Tindle Radio’s David Rees has been appointed regional programme director for the South Anglia region. He’ll also join the board of directors at Town 102 and Dream 100. He will now oversee programming for Dream 107.7 in mid-Essex along with north Essex and Ipswich stations. (more)
Dream 100 collects ashtrays

Now that the smoking ban has been introduced to public places in England, Colchester radio station Dream 100 is collecting unwanted ashtrays to raise money for charity. Cash raised from recycling the ashtrays throughout July will be donated to Cancer Research UK. (more)
