Clyde and Forth to Launch Cash Promotion

Glasgow and Edinburgh-based radio stations, Clyde 1 and Forth One, have launched a promotion to have listeners stay tuned in for longer: by promising there’s a chance to win a £1000 in a forthcoming programme.

Clyde and Forth launch TV ads

Emap stations Clyde 1 and Forth One have launched a new advertising campaign on STV. The Clyde 1 ads highlight Bowie at Breakfast, Suzie McGuire and Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard team, whilst in Edinburgh Boogie and Jill, Grant Stott, Sam Jackson and Yazz feature. (more)
Rock Radio & Forth One Favourites in Southern Scotland

The Breakfast Show on Rock Radio with Kieron Elliott and the Drivetime Show on Forth One with Yasmin Zemmoura have been voted the Best in Southern Scotland in a poll run by Merry Media.Over the past couple of months, Merry Media has been moving from region to region across the UK to find the best breakfast and drivetime shows on the radio with votes coming from within the radio industry as well as businesses and listeners.Kieron Elliott's show received 12% of the votes, followed by Robin Galloway's breakfast show on sister station Real Radio with 11% of the votes. In third place was Julyan Sinclair on XFM Scotland.. (more)
Radio Forth secure sport sponsor

Midlothian based windows and conservatory company Lochinvar have signed up to sponsor sports coverage on 97.3 Forth One and 1548 Forth 2. The 12 month deal is valued at £50,000 and both sides are said to be delighted with the partnership.
Lochinvar MD David Hiddleston said "We have had many years of successful partnership with Radio Forth and this is a fantastic opportunity for us to enhance that and bring our successful brands together." (more)
