100.4 Smooth FM

100.4 Smooth FM is a regional radio station across the North West of England, and was purchased by the Guardian Media Group in 2003, having been launched on 1st September 1994 as 100.4 JAZZFM by Radio Investments Ltd.

The Smooth FM rebrand came into effect on 1st March 2004, and up until March 2005, shared a great deal of its weekend programming with 102.2 JAZZFM in London. Mike Chadwick's Saturday Night Experience is now the only networked show.

Presenters include Chris Best, Dave Lincoln, Steve Collins, Derek Webster and former Programme Director prior to GMG's takeover of the station, Steve Quirk.
