Angela Rippon

Angela Rippon was one of the first female newsreaders on British television.

Her radio experience includes stints on LBC Newstalk 97.3 and LBC 97.3.

In 2004 and 2005 she presented a weekend programme on the ITV News Channel.

In June 2004 she was awarded the OBE for services to broadcasting, the arts and charity.
