Chris Tarrant (born 10th October 10 1946 in Reading, Berkshire) is a radio broadcaster and television presenter now best known for hosting the ITV1 game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

Tarrant came to prominence originally as one of the co-hosts of the groundbreaking Saturday morning children's TV show Tiswas. His morning show on London commercial radio station Capital Radio was for years one of the staples of early morning London life for many people. The show ran for 4,425 episodes over 17 years, ending on 2 April 2004.
