Dave Lee Travis (DLT), nicknamed "The Hairy Cornflake" is a well known radio presenter. His BBC Radio 1 career began in 1968, presenting a Sunday morning show from 10am-midday. He presented a number of different shows on Radio 1, including the Breakfast Show, which he took over from Noel Edmonds in May 1978. He presented this show until 1980, and was also a regular presenter of Top of the Pops on BBC television.

January 1981 saw Travis move to weekday afternoons, before moving to weekends in 1983.

In 1993 he famously resigned on-air during his Sunday morning show, stating that he could not agree with changes that were being made to the station. He was replaced by Danny Baker.

In the 1990s and early 2000s he worked for the oldies station Classic Gold.

DLT now presents shows on the Magic Network and on BBC Three Counties Radio.
