Good Morning Television (GMTV) is the national breakfast franchise of the ITV network. It began broadcasting in 1993, replacing the previous contractor, TV-am.

The franchise reaches approximately 10 million viewers a week, transmitting daily from 6-9.25am on ITV1. Its programming is designed to reach a large cross-section of the viewing public - ranging from children's programming to entertainment news and in-depth reporting on the day's developing news stories.

Its sister channel GMTV2 follows the same broadcast slot on ITV2.

The company is 75% owned by ITV plc and 25% owned by Disney, which produces its children's television output.
