Heart 106

Heart 106 is a regional commercial radio station for the East Midlands which plays adult contemporary music and was acquired by Chrysalis Radio on May 5th 2005, as part of the merger requirements between Capital Radio Group and GWR Group to form GCap Media. It is part of the Heart Network.

It began life as Radio 106 in 1997 before being acquired by Border Radio Holdings in 1998 who rebranded the station as Century 106.
