(Redirected from IRN)

Independent Radio News provides an audio and copy news service to commercial radio stations across the UK and beyond.

IRN's news service is provided by ITN.

For much of its history IRN has been inextricably linked to LBC, which provided IRN's news service between 1973 and 1991. Between 2000 and 2002 IRN and LBC once again shared a newsroom when they were both being operated by ITN.

Past competitors to IRN have included Network News and Reuters Radio News.

Current competitors include Sky News Radio.
