ITV1 is the brand adopted in October 2002 for the Channel 3 ITV licences in England and Wales then owned by Carlton Communications and Granada Media (who subsequently merged to form ITV plc).
The only non-ITV plc ITV licence holder to use any ITV1 branding and continuity is Channel TV in the Channel Islands.
