A DAB Digital Radio service, begun in 2001/2 in London.

Wholly owned by SMG, this service was a taster of a franchise application for the East Midlands franchise, eventually won by Saga 106.6FM.

Playing nonstop music during the day, and alternative tracks in the evening, the evening programming was presented voluntarily by staff at Virgin Radio. Presenters included Tim Vernon, Leona Graham, James Andrews, Dave Lambert, and others.

In 2004, Liquid closed to make way for Virgin Radio Classic Rock.
