Magic 828 is a local radio station owned by Emap broadcasting to Leeds.
Magic 828 was the first "Magic" station - the name "Magic" is now used for many of Emap's local AM services as well as a digital TV station.
The name came from an internal competition at "Radio Aire", the winning suggestion was submitted by Bob Preedy.
