Marc Riley

Marc "Lard" Riley is a musician, alternative rock critic and broadcaster on BBC 6 Music, where he presents Rocket Science on Saturday afternoons and Mint on Sunday evenings. Riley is best known as one half of the duo Mark and Lard, with fellow presenter Mark Radcliffe. The pair worked at BBC Radio 1 in the mid 1990s, including a brief stint on the Breakfast Show.
Riley was a member of The Fall from 1978 to 1982, originally playing bass guitar, and then later lead guitar. He also released a number of albums in the 1980s with his band The Creepers.
